AICHELIN China's 40th Anniversary Celebration Concludes Successfully in Beijing's Future Science City on July 18, 2025. This event not only the company's glorious achievements from four decades in the Chinese market but also marked the starting point for a new journey towards the future!

From the first spark ignited by its Beijing representative office in 1985, to the groundbreaking founding of its Beijing rented factory with a team of seven in 1993; from its first independently produced production line, to today's glorious footprint of over 1,800 production lines （sets）worldwide; from acquiring suppliers to complete its industrial chain, to becoming a core strategic linchpin for the global group... AICHELIN China has consistently upheld its founding mission over the past four decades.
"Yesterday · Today · Tomorrow" as the theme of the keynote speeches were kick off, which are focusing on the technologies and market developments within the heat treatment industry and its upstream/downstream supply chain.

Mr. Grosspointner congratulated AICHELIN China on its 40th anniversary. As a global leader in industrial furnace technology with a 157-year heritage, the AICHELIN Group has deeply cultivated the Chinese market through a localization strategy: establishing its headquarters in Beijing, and planning to complete a new acquisition in 2025. AICHELIN will continue to enhance its market share through technological innovation, business expansion, and full lifecycle services and will bolster the Sino-Austrian partnership and maintain the global leadership in the heat treatment industry as part of its Strategic 2030 Goals, achieving stronger sales growth in China.
AICHELIN China's development journey is a product of its era. Seizing the opportunity of China's Reform and Opening Up in 1978, the company entered the Chinese market. Its Beijing representative office was established in 1985, securing a landmark first equipment order worth 80 million yuan. A small factory rented in Changping in 1998 marked AICHELIN’s localized production. A significant transformation occurred in 2007 with the move to the new Shabe factory, evolving the company from a "market entrant" to an "ecosystem builder". Further strategic advancement came in 2012 with supply chain integration, upgrading services to encompass the full product lifecycle. A major milestone was reached in 2022, with annual orders surpassing 1 billion yuan. Widely acclaimed within the industry for its three major contributions – Introducing advanced technology, wide spreading equipment, and Cultivating talents – AICHELIN China remains steadfast in implementing its localization strategy and towards its goal of becoming Asia's leader in heat treatment solutions.

Supplied over 1,800 high-efficiency intelligent equipment units from the 1980s. It contributed to formulating national standards and has been recognized as a benchmark "Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Innovative" enterprise. As an active CHTA council member, AICHELIN China has vigorously promoted technical exchanges and standardization development. Looking ahead, President Tong expressed anticipation for AICHELIN to further advance in: breakthroughs in green and intelligent technologies; enhancing international competitiveness and strengthening industry leadership to contributing to the high-quality development of China’s heat treatment industry.

On behalf of the China Bearing Industry Association (CBIA), Mr. Zhou Yu extended congratulations to AICHELIN China on its 40th anniversary. “As a leader in the heat treatment sector, AICHELIN China has provided the bearing industry with over 100 production lines, significantly enhancing product reliability and lifespan. The company's technology transfer, tailored solutions, and talent cultivation have been deeply integrated into China's industrial ecosystem, driving the industry's high-end development.” Mr. Zhou expressed his anticipation that AICHELIN can deepen cooperation in green heat treatment and intelligent manufacturing, supporting China's journey to become a manufacturing power in the future.

Mr. Xu reviewed the enduring collaboration between CHTS and AICHELIN dating back to 1983 on the event. From its first major ten-million-yuan order in 1984 to establish roots in China, to its current status as an industry leader, AICHELIN China achieved prominence through technology transfer and localized innovation – exemplified by milestones like the 1984 roller hearth furnace and the first domestically produced production line in 1993. The partnership between CHTS and AICHELIN has been instrumental in advancing international exchanges, formulating industry standards, and cultivating talent, powerfully attesting to the success of the "Open Collaboration - Independent Innovation" pathway. Facing the "dual carbon" goals, Mr. Xu called for leveraging the Society as a think tank and enterprises as the primary drivers to jointly build a new ecosystem for green and intelligent heat treatment. This collaboration will propel Chinese heat treatment technology onto the global stage.

A strategic cooperation agreement was signed on site between Changping District Government and AICHELIN Group. Mr. Liu Qiang, Deputy District Head of Changping and Mr. Christian Grosspointner, CEO of the AICHELIN Group and Chairman of AICHELIN China, represented both parties in signing the agreement. This milestone marks a commitment to deeper collaboration across industrial upgrading, technological innovation and regional economic development.

At the same time, Ms. Zhang Xin, Deputy Director of the Changping District Commerce Bureau, presented a detailed introduction about the beautiful Changping. She warmly invited enterprises to explore the development opportunities together in Changping.
Mr. Sun Yefan, the main character of the book, shared its background of why writing this book and his extraordinary personal journey behind founding AICHELIN China in writer’s eyes. Amidst the opportunities of that era, under Mr. Sun’s leadership, AICHELIN China seized pivotal moments to pioneer a distinctly localized development path. Through groundbreaking technological adaptation and strategic talent cultivation, the company aligned itself perfectly with the unique demands of the Chinese market.
