On December 18, 2019, Mr. Ren Weifeng, CEO of AICHELIN China, represented AICHELIN China has donated 30 desktop computers, 15 laptops, 4 TVs, 2 printers, 25 sets of extracurricular books and some other study and daily necessities to Yanjing Little Swan School of Public Welfare, which located in Beiqing Rd, Haidian District, Beijing.
This is the 4th time that AICHELIN China has donated tables & chairs, desktop computers, and laptops. It has built a bridge for the children here to communicate with the outside world, and also made a modest effort to build a computer laboratory for it. Principal Yan Zhaoshi introduced us about the certificates that the pupils have rewarded in ‘Beijing Giant Cup Comprehensive Quality Evaluation Contest’ and mentioned that although the educational environment is limited here, the children are motivated, hard-working and their perseverance to overcome difficulties never give up.
In addition to donating in teaching infrastructure, AICHELIN China actively takes its advantages as a foreign-funded enterprise to lead children to explore the country's landscape and culture
outside China. We have decorated classrooms with Chinese and German culture and scientists as elements. The "Window of the World" series of lectures that have been volunteered, as well as inviting children to participate in the Beijing German Football Championship held by the German Chamber of Commerce in Beijing every year to experience the culture and landscape of different places, learn about the inventions and creations of great scientists, build confidence, broaden their horizons, and strengthen Fitness. Mr. Yan Zhaoshi, who gave up his engineer job for aeroplane automation and have fully taken over the school since 2010. It is now around 300-400 pupils in Grades 1-6. These kind of schools are known as migrant sponsored schools (Nongmingong Zidi Xuexiao) without having adequate education quality or facilities.
